Raw Scan: "Quo Vadis" by Kudara Naizou

About four or five months or so back, while salvaging some files from some old hard drives, I recovered a few scans I did back in 2003. Among those scans was this one: "Quo Vadis" by Kudara Naizou.

About the manga:

Back then, I couldn't read a lick of Japanese, so I mainly bought mangas judging by the cover alone. I know... "Never judge a book by it's cover." But this cover had such a really cute girl on it! I couldn't resist! Even today, I still don't really know what the story's about (I haven't tried to translate it, yet); but I do know it deals with espers, ghosts and the supernatural (Somebody call Haruhi Suzumiya!)... and somehow, the cute girl on the cover has some psychic visions and such.

Even though I wasn't too sure about what was going on with the story, I loved the artwork so much that I even bought and scanned the sequel, "Quo Vadis 2"! Unfortunately, that scan is still lost somewhere. Luckily, I still have both mangas. If need be, I can always rescan them.

About the scan:

The "Raw Scans" section of my blog has had my empty promise of providing some of the scans I have done or will do. (I've yet to scan anything new!) Now that I finally recovered a few, I figured I'd start with this one. A medium quality (about 40MB) version is available via MediaFire. My original raw scans actually total to about 175MB... way too large for normal use. Technically, I think I did an average job in scanning this. In fact, I'd say none of my scans are as good as some of the stuff I've been seeing lately. But like with some of my translations, my scans were all pretty much experimental.
